    The price could be an issue for some people, but I still feel it gives a lot of bang for the buck. I would think most people would fall into the Professional edition, which allows 500 products, and the cost is $995. BUT, if you take that cost and spread it out over a period of 3-5 years, you’re only talked about $17-25 a month, which is very reasonable for the amount of utility included. I still feel the inclusion of SendStudio ($279 for free) and Knowledge Manager ($195 for free) makes Shopping Cart an excellent all-in-one solution (as long as buyers take advantage of the software).

    Hey Guys,

    I have spent the last 3 days checking out shopping carts- everthing from oscommerce to hosted and unhosted pay packages.

    While, the price point is a tad high- I think
    that interspire’s solution is one of the very best.
    Why- ease of use, ability to customize. plus it is relatively easy to integrate with blogs etc.
    SEO tools are built in and some nice stat features- all-in all. top notch.

    I fully agree with you Kathy. I did a lot of homework when researching shopping carts, and the thing that really amazed me was the attention to detail Interspire put into their shopping cart. They recently updated to Shopping Cart 3.1 and there’s a whole list of additional features that were added.

    I have looked extensively and found that SendStudio and Knowledge Manager ARE NOT included, they have to be purchased separately. Once you have bought, paid for and installed them on your server, then you can enable the integration from the admin panel. Disappointing that they don’t include it in the Cart Price. But the Cart is still the best thing I have found and will probably end up buying it.
